Micro Datacenters

Datacenter capacity, built inside a steel box.

M22 Tech designs, builds, and deploys micro datacenters inside shipping containers, built around APC UPS power protection and cooling sized to your heat load. Each one arrives as a finished, rugged IT room, ready to set on your pad.

Solutions

What we build

01

Container Micro Datacenters

Steel ISO containers finished as clean IT rooms: closed-cell foam insulation, finished interior walls, an electrically insulating floor, and a corrosion-resistant epoxy exterior. Racks, power, and cooling are planned as one system.

02

Right-Sized Cooling

Cooling units sized to your rack heat load, with networked controls and rack temperature and humidity sensors, so hardware stays in a stable, monitored environment.

03

APC UPS & Power Protection

Modular APC UPS systems with N+1 redundancy and a maintenance bypass, feeding a dedicated distribution panel and metered rack PDUs. Battery runtime is sized to your load.

04

Edge Computing Sites

Compute capacity placed close to where data is created, whether that is a plant floor, a remote facility, or a temporary site.

05

Design & Engineering

Layouts, power and cooling planning, and equipment selection tailored to your workload, your site, and your growth plans.

06

Build, Deploy & Support

Fabrication, integration, delivery, and commissioning, with ongoing help to keep your power and cooling systems in good working order.

Process

From empty container to live datacenter

  1. Assess

We learn your workload, power availability, site conditions, and goals.

  2. Design

We plan the rack layout, APC cooling capacity, and APC UPS and power distribution.

  3. Build

The container is outfitted and integrated as a complete, tested system.

  4. Deploy

We coordinate shipping, crane and set onto your pad, and factory startup of the power and cooling equipment, then commission the unit on site.

  5. Support

We stay available to help maintain, adjust, and expand as your needs change.

Why Containers

Infrastructure that moves with you

A purpose-built room is a long, fixed commitment. A containerized micro datacenter is a self-contained unit that can be placed where it is needed, added to as you grow, and relocated if your plans change.

  • Modular. Add capacity one unit at a time.
  • Portable. Built to be shipped and placed on site.
  • Rugged. A steel enclosure for demanding environments.
  • Self-contained. Power, cooling, and IT in one package.
  • Protected. Clean-agent fire suppression and sealed cable entries.
  • Secure. Lockable racks and doors, with prewiring for cameras and access control.

About

Built in Michigan

M22 Tech LLC is based in downtown Grand Rapids, Michigan. Our name and logo come from M-22, one of Michigan's best-known highways. We focus on one thing: building dependable micro datacenters inside shipping containers, using APC cooling and UPS equipment as the foundation for power and environmental protection.

Every project starts with a conversation about what you need to run and where you need to run it.
